Acer announced their new tablet, the Iconia Tab A510. The tablet brings a 10.1-inch screen, quad-core processor and up to 12 hours of continuous video playback. For now this tablet is only available for pre-order at $449.99 in the U.S and Canada. That prise is $50 less than the cheapest third-generation Apple iPad. - A little further, this tablet has 1 gigabyte of RAM, 32 gigabytes of built-in storage and a microSD card slot that can accommodate up to an extra 32 gigabytes of storage, decent cameras with a 1 megapixel front-facing camera for video chat and a rear-facing 5 megapixel camera that can shoot up to 720p video, touch screen with a 1280x800 pixel resolution, a built-in HDMI port for connecting the tablet to HDTVs.

The device adopts quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 CPU and 12-Core Nvidia GeForce graphics processor. This device features the Olympic rings logo on the back side as part of a marketing deal between Acer and the Olympic Games. Acer hasn't made any announcement yet about when exactly the tablet will be available to buy.
