"Divide Post Into Two (2) Columns". This could be one of so many ways that you could make to attract visitors or even keep your readers remain faithfull to your blog. When you publish a post on blogger, your post is placed and shown on a single column, or let's just say it "on a single line", looks the term column doesn't realy describe it good, doesn't it? - The text will be "arranged vertically" no matter how much words that you write or how long it will be. But by adding a short code in the post you are assumed to have a full control of the post in case of the layout. I mean: if you want to show the post in one or two columns.

Make The Way As Explained Below

1. Go to your blogger.
2. Click new post.
3. On the posting page (the page after you click the new post link), click the button titled "Edit Html" located above the text box where you would write your post.
4. After you click the Edit Html button, write what you want to post in the text box and then place the code below among your post. Follow the instructions:

Here Is An Example How To Make It

< table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="10">< tbody>
< tr>
< td align="justify" valign="top" width="200">

  2. Well guy. If i'm not mistaken, that site is making use of "featured content" form. And if that is true, i'm sure you won't wanna make it. It's updated automatically, but you'll have to change the "items" shown on the home page manually. But if you think it's fine, i can show you "the code" the site use. It makes use of css and html code. But maybe, if you realy mean to make it, i think it's better that you use the following simplier way instead of its "featured content".

    < b:if cond='data:blog.pageType == "data:home.Pageurl"'>
    < a href='your post url'>< img src='your img url' alt='' / >< /a>< /b :if>
. It's much better since it doesn't take too many code.

But if you think i'm wrong guessing it, then just tell me. :)

  3. Hello. I tried this code but it didn't work on my blogger post. How can I make this work? All that was broken into two columns are the words - the write to be shown on the left side - the write to be shown on the right side.

    1. You must be kidding. Table form is a standard html code, it works everywhere, and anyplace.

    2. Hope you pasted it directly in the post area! Dont do that, instead just hit the HTML button below the space given to write your post title & there you have to paste the code

  9. I have a problem with this, when I change the "Cellspacing", there becomes a gap between the columns and the post area, do you know if I can remove that space so that my writing will align completely to the left?
    Thanks a lot! :)

  12. Hello john, is there like a more permanent way for this method instead of having to edit the html for every single post individually like. Is there a code that splits the text columns into 2 for the general blogger html template?

  13. Thanks!! It works!! I'm just wondering how can I center align it?? I already tried with the Center align button but it will just center the text within the table but not the whole table within the post, instead it just stays on the left side, any way to fix this?
